"I felt stuck in my songwriting and everything else in life was a priority. Working full time, raising kids, worrying about wars - In a magic moment I grabbed the opportunity to do something kind for myself. I’m a loungeroom musician with no history of recording and I felt my songs all sounded the same. I hoped that by attending the weekend I would get some tips and tricks to add some variety to my style. Even though I knew we would have the chance to record I didn’t put any expectation on myself that I would write a new song or even record one. Not only thanks to Charles Jenkins and Ben did I write a beautiful new song and record it but I had a wonderful music filled weekend and made some smashing new friends."
